Environmental signage

Environmental signage represents a wide and varied solution which includes both indoor directional signage and outdoor environmental signage, with advertising, informational or promotional purpose. In particular, environmental signage is a complementary element to street furniture. However, it needs to be deeply studied to provide accurate and not misleading information to those who see it.

We are committed to the design and realization of signage which guide users in both indoor and outdoor spaces, combining understanding and design. In the last years, at Remor we have specialized in the design and realization of environmental signage for public and commercial areas, using mainly corten steel and galvanized and painted steel. Among the most requested products there are corten totem, corten lecterns, corten panels, corten lecterns for public spaces and tourist signage.

Signage for public entities

Information panels: our work for Parks and Woods of Venice-Mestre area

A practical example of the design and realization of customized signage for public administration and environmental signage is related to the Municipality of Venice. For this important client, we were in charge of producing and installing several artefacts and information panels for parks and woods inside the Venice-Mestre area.

We made custom-made corten and Dibond totems, printed new plaques for existing artefacts for their restoration, and we took care of the maintenance of lecterns that we had installed more than a decade ago by updating the graphics with interchangeable information panels.
